No matter what, these children saw Michael as there Dad/Father. The children are going to have a lot to deal with when is comes to what killed Michael. Is it the drugs, would Michael have lived longer.

Why does anyone need to know who the biological parents are? Micheal was their dad and that is all that matters. To them, he is the only dad they will know.

Who are we helping by looking into this? Who are we hurting by looking into this?

The only people who will lose is the children and they have already hurt enough.

For one thing, the pic you post is of the post-reconstructive-surgery Michael. No actual biological offspring of his is gonna look like that. In the end he barely looked human anyway.
But what does it matter? He's the father they know. End of discussion.
